CUPERTINO, Calif., Jan. 2 (UPI) — Apple says a glitch on its iPhone 4 that stopped its built-in alarm clock from going off will be fixed.

As rumors intensify about Apple offering a Verizon iPhone this month, analysts are weighing how many AT&T customers will defect. One estimate says 6 million.

Skype 3.0 for the Apple iPhone has just been released. This new version, for the first time, allows users to make video calls to other Skype users. This feature works over Wi-Fi or a 3G connection.

Apple’s rollout for the Verizon iPhone will wait until after CES wraps up, sources said Wednesday night. The launch would arrive until sometime after the event’s end on January 9, but when it would take place hadn’t been narrowed down.
